Deputy Commissioner Ranchi, Rahul Kumar Sinha, while reviewing all the flyovers being built in Ranchi city, taking information about its actual condition, told all the concerned officers that it is an important responsibility of all the concerned officers to make Ranchi city jam free. There is a need to work towards making Ranchi city completely free from traffic jams.
He directed to speed up the work of all the flyovers being built in Ranchi city so that the problem of traffic jam in the city can be resolved soon and instructions were also given to the concerned officers to complete it on time.
A review meeting of land acquisition related matters was organized by the DC today at Collectorate Block-A. In the meeting, Additional Collector Ranchi, Rajesh Kumar Barwar, Land Reforms Deputy Collector Ranchi, Rajiv Kumar Singh and District Land Acquisition Officer Sunil Chandra, Project Director NHAI Ranchi, Vijay Kumar, Project Director NHAI Ramgarh, Arvind Kumar Singh, Project Director NHAI Gumla, Rajiv Ranjan, Executive Engineer Road Construction Department Ranchi and all the concerned officers were present.
The DC, while reviewing the Bharatmala project, said that under Ormanjhi Gola section, a total of 10 km of road will be constructed from Mauza Eid to Tape under 16 Mauzas. Of the total Rs 148 crore received against 167.40 acres of land being acquired for the construction of the road and Rs 14.44 crore received for the structure located on it, out of the total Rs 162.44 crore, Rs 100 crore has been paid. While giving instructions to the competent officer cum Circle Officer Ormanjhi to make the payment of the residual amount quickly, the DC said that the residual applications of Mauza Tape and other villages should be executed in the coming 15 days.
Sinha, while reviewing the National Highway 23 (Gumla Palama Project), directed that wherever obstructions are being created by the Ryaats, such problems should be resolved in coordination with the Project Director. He also asked to pay the remaining amount of Rs 16 crore of this project by the end of this month and ensure that the award of 205.08 acres of land under the total 99 plot being acquired is soon announced and payment is made for the structure situated on it.
Sinha directed the concerned officer to give the remaining compensation amount of 4.25 acres of land acquired under this project to the applicants as soon as possible.
In this project, the road widening project will be implemented by the executive. It was prominently placed before the DC, by the Engineer. In which the DC, Ranchi, directed to do the land cum genealogy verification of 20 and 43 applications respectively received by the Circle Officer Argora, Nagdi and make them available to the Land Acquisition Office within 48 hours.
Sinha directed the District Land Acquisition Officer and Executive Engineer Road Construction to contact the affected tenants and complete all the processes as soon as possible for the construction of a new road for Jharkhand Central University Cherry-Manatu.
At the end of the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner, Ranchi, instructed all the zonal officers to receive the applications of the projects going on in their respective areas and after verifying the land and genealogy, to make it available to the District Land Acquisition Office and to the District Land Acquisition Officer through his personnel. In particular, instructions were given by Deputy Commissioner Ranchi to all the concerned officers to pay the compensation as soon as possible for the land being acquired in Serum Toli Flyover, NHAI project, other ongoing projects in Ranchi city and the Road Construction Department projects.
