The Inter School Quiz and Basketball Tournament 2023 under the aegis of Hazaribag Sahodaya School Complex was organized here in DAV Public School Hazaribag on 14th January, 2023 .It was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Prakash Sahay  , Associate Professor  Yogda  College, Ranchi, Ashok Kumar, Principal DAV Hazaribag and others.In this competition the participating teams were  there from St.Xavier School Hazaribag,  DAV Tapin, DAV Barhi, New Academic Heights, DPS ,Hazaribag, Holy Cross School Hazaribag, Angel High School Hazaribag, DAV Chatra,Oasis school Hazaribag, Edison Public School, DAV Ghato and others.The Principal Ashok Kumar welcomed all and said that it is indeed a great occasion in which the students would get an opportunity to prove their mettle. They all have potential only, they need a platform and conducive environment to exhibit the same.The Chief Guest said that children must be groomed properly for their overall development. Encouraging children he said that winning or losing doesn't matter ,what matters the most is active and willing participation.The Programme concluded with felicitation of winners by  Umesh Mehta, Chairman Zila Parishad .In order to entertain the audience, Bhangra Dance and Solo Dance were presented by the students of school. Vote of thanks was proposed by the Deputy Head Girl. The teachers Kiran Mishra, Manoj Khandelwal, Ananya Mukhopadhyay, Ratandeep Sharma, Arindam Patnayak and others took leading role in organizing the event.In Quiz DAV Public School Hazaribag became winner whereas Angel High School emerged as Runners up. Shriman Hardik was declared as the Best Quizzer. Similarly  , in the Basketball Tournament ( Boys) DAV Hazaribag emerged winner and St.Xavier became Runner up. Prabal from DAV Hazaribag was declared as the Best Player .In Basketball ( Girls) the winner team was DAV PUBLIC SCHOOL HAZARIBAG and ANGELES HIGH SCHOOL, HAZARIBAG, became the runner and Riya of DAV PUBLIC SCHOOL HAZARIBAG was declared the best player in Girls' Basketball Tournament.
