Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel will transfer unemployment allowance to 1,05,395 youths on May 31.
Last time, an amount of Rs 16.54 lakh was transferred to 66,185 youths as the first instalment of unemployment allowance, an official communication said on Tuesday.
Of this, there are 64,025 women or 39 percent of the total number. The maximum number of youths is from rural areas.
The official stated that 1,680 cases of application had gone for appeal as the eligibility is being counter checked. The time has been given to the applicants for filing their appeal before the district Collectors.
The system has provision of complaints in which 2,942 complaints were received. Of this, 1,425 complaints were redressed.
The youth under the schemes are also being imparted training. A total of 1,701 youths are undergoing training for job or business in 33 institutions across the state.
