Chief Minister virtually inaugurates Eye Hospital of Ujjain

Tuesday, 31 January 2023 | Staff Reporter | Bhopal

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that Swaminarayan Sanstha which is dedicated to the service of the oppressed, weak and needy people, is actually acting on the idea of Nar Seva hi Narayan Seva.

Devotees from all over the country and abroad who are connected with this sanstha have extended their co-operation in the construction of Shiv Gyan Motilal Eye Hospital in Ujjain. I am grateful to them. A team of experienced doctors with state-of-the-art machines and equipments will treat eye patients here, due to which world class facilities will be available especially to the people of Malwa and Nimar.

Chief Minister Chouhan was virtually addressing the inauguration programme of Shivgyan Motilal Eye Hospital in Ujjain from Samatva Bhawan located in the Chief Minister’s residence office premises. The eye hospital built by Swaminarayan Ashram Vadtal was inaugurated virtually by Chief Minister Chouhan from Bhopal and Union Home and Co-operation Minister Amit Shah from New Delhi.

State Higher Education Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, Member of Parliament Anil Firoziya, Ujjain Mayor Mukesh Tantwal, former minister Paras Jain, Vadtal Dham Peethadhipati Acharya Rakesh Prasad Ji Maharaj, office bearers of the institution and public representatives were present in the programme held in the hospital premises built in Ujjain.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that Swaminarayan Sanstha had taken the decision to build a grand temple in Ujjain in Simhastha 2016. The decision was changed when the institution came to know about the need of a hospital here and this hospital was constructed at a cost of Rs 15 crore.

Kamlesh Bhatt and Dr. Alpana Bhatt donated their valuable land to the organisation for the construction of the hospital. The charity of these Bhamashahs of this era is commendable. The co-operation provided by the devotees of the country and abroad associated with the organisation is also commendable. The organisation is working towards removing economic disparities along with awakening spiritual, social and cultural consciousness.

Describing the importance of Ujjaini, Union Home and Co-operative Minister Amit Shah said that the people of the area would be benefited from the hospital established by the Sanstha. The contribution of Swaminarayan Sanstha is important in building a healthy society.

The organisation is also doing remarkable work in the field of education and de-addiction. The central government is working at every level to make good quality medical facilities easily accessible to the common man. The idea of Chief Minister Chouhan to make MBBS study available in Hindi language is also highly commendable. The establishment of Mahakal Mahalok in Ujjain and its grandeur will be helpful in the restoration of faith.

Special thanks was given in the programme to Ramesh Bhai Patel, Sadgun Bhai Patel of America for the construction of Shiv Gyan Motilal Eye Hospital. Top notch operation theatres, labs will be available in the hospital and free facilities will be provided to poor patients.
