A team of the Central Health Department has inspected the Plandu Primary Health Centre in naxal affected Barkagaon block of the district. The team members went through every aspect of the centre. They instructed the in-Charge of the centre to improve the facilities in the centre.
The central team in the leadership of Dr. Amit Chaterjee with Dr. Robin Charan reached were welcomed by the doctor in-charge of Barkagaon block Dr. Avinash Kumar in a traditional way.
The team members inspected the OPD and Laboratory, labour room and other aspects of the centre. They collected some important information from the in-charge of the primary health centre. They were trying to know how many villagers are getting the facilities of government schemes through the centre.
The team members instructed the centre in-charge to improve the treatment facilities in the centre. The life- saving medicine must be available in the centre all time. The dressing facility for the injured persons is also on priority.
They also tried to know the basic information from the ANM and Sahiya of the centre. They instructed the in-charge that the doctor must be on duty every day.
The leader of the team Dr. Chaterjee said that they will submit our report to the central health secretary for further action.
