The Long term Service Awards Celebrate the work anniversaries of those who have dedicated a significant portion of their professional career to their work sincerely. In the same episode at Bokaro Steel Limited 113 steel workers who have served 25 years in Bokaro Steel Plant were honored at the long term service award function organized on 28 March.   In this function organized in the auditorium of HRD Centre , Director-in-charge of BSL Amarendu Prakash, Executive Director (Works) BK Tiwari, ED (Projects) CR Mahapatra, ED (Materials Management) Amitabh Srivastava, ED (Finance and Accounts) Suresh Rangani, ED (P & A) Rajan Prasad,TA Chief BS Popli, Chief General Manager and other senior officers including various employees were present.

At the beginning of the function, CGM (Personnel) Hari Mohan Jha welcomed everyone. In his address, DIC Amarendu Prakash congratulated the employees who have completed 25 years of service and said that Bokaro Steel Plant is not just an organization but a complete family. DIC Prakash further expressed his gratitude for their loyalty and contribution towards the organization and added that the experience and enthusiasm of this group of steel workers would go a long way in taking BSL to the pinnacle of excellence.  He also called upon the personnel receiving long term service honors to share their experience with the new personnel joining the plant to keep moving and work even harder.

The Executive Directors on board also lauded the contribution of the personnel who received the Long Term Service Award and conveyed to them to take the plant to newer heights.  Notably during the ceremony, 28 executives and 85 non-executives were felicitated with long-term service certificates and gifts by the guests. The programme was coordinated by Senior Manager (Personnel) Dr. Nanda Priyadarshini and Manager (Personnel) Ritika Shukla. In the end, General Manager (Personnel) P. Sen proposed the vote of thanks.
