2 OF FAMILY DIE AS BIKE HITS TREE IN DHENKANAL
Dhenkanal: Two members of a family died when their bike hit a tree in the Kankadahada area of Dhenkanal district on Friday. They were identified as DugguMankadia and his nephew SiddhantMankadia of MalharSahi. The duo was going to Kankadahada when their vehicle dashed against the tree near Bandania village. They were severely injured. Locals rushed them to the nearest hospital, where doctors declared them dead.

Bhubaneswar: PhonePe has announced that it has gone live with the UPI LITE feature on its app. The feature allows users to initiate low-value payments under Rs 200, with a single tap from their UPI LITE account without entering a PIN. The transaction is processed directly by debiting the on-device UPI LITE balance without involving the customers’ banks’ (remitter bank) core banking systems in real-time.
