Raksha Bandhan was celebrated on behalf of Om Nivas, Bhubaneswar of Prajapita Brahmakumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya.
On the occasion, the sisters of Prajapita Brahma Kumaris tied rakhi to Governor Prof Ganeshi Lal at Raj Bhavan. Brahma Kumari Geeta, Brahma Kumari Tripura, Brahma Kumari Smruti, Brahma Kumari Kavita and Brahma Kumar Aditya Bhai participated.
Joining as chief guest, East Cost Railway DGM Ashok Kumar Mishra elaborated the spiritual significance of Rakshabandhan.
Chief speaker Dr Prativa Maharathi said that Rakhi is a sacred thread that binds everyone in God’s love.
Brahma Kumari Rajayogini Sister Geeta said, "Let our feelings be pure and elevated for every soul. Let there be forgiveness and good wishes. Together, we will be able to create an atmosphere of love and contentment in our world."
The meeting was managed by Brahma Kumari Tripura. Around 300 dignitaries participated in the celebration.
