Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee occupies an important place in the national political history as the founder of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh. He also championed the cause of J&K's complete integration with the Union of India. Mukherjee's leadership qualities came to the fore when he guided prominent institutions such as the Asiatic Society and the Indian Institute of Science. June 23 marks Mukherjee's death anniversary and on his death anniversary Bokaro MLA Biranchi Narayan, while paying tribute to the Mukherjee's photo in his residential office in the presence of all BJP workers, said that Dr. Shyama Mukherjee had given a slogan to the country that two heads, two legislations and two marks will not work in one country. Signifying the same Prime Minister Narendra Modi made the dream of Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee came true by removing Article 370 from Kashmir. Notably Mukherjee's prime area of focus was achieving Kashmir's total integration into India and he strongly opposed Article 370 during his entire active political career.
