Various programs were organized by Bank of Baroda, Regional Office Jamshedpur on the occasion of 116th Foundation Day of the Bank. The program started with a bike rally. The main objective of which was to create awareness among citizens about cyber security. After that white and saffron colored balloons were released and cake cutting was done on this historic day by the hands of the executives in the regional office premises. Thereafter, in the presence of Regional Head, Jamshedpur Region Manish Prakash Sinha and other executives and staff members, homage was paid to the founder of the bank, Maharaj Sir Sayyaji Rao Gaekwad III by garlanding and lighting the lamp. All the staff members also took the ethics pledge on the occasion.
On this occasion, a free health check-up camp, eye check-up was organized in the regional office premises for all the staff members and customers in the regional office. In which health check-up of more than 150 employees, customers and their relatives was done. The representatives of the hospital advised the staff, clients to lead a healthy lifestyle. A blood donation camp was organized on this occasion. Apart from this, food was arranged for the old people of Ashirwad Bhawan old age home at Baradwari on behalf of the bank. Committed to Corporate Social Responsibility, the Bank made special contribution (renovation of toilets) to Jamshedpur High School, provided computers to Thakkar Bapa Middle School and CP Samiti School.
Various branches of Bank of Baroda also actively participated in social works on the occasion of Foundation Day and organized tree plantation under social responsibility, distributed books, tiffin boxes, bags, stationery, fans, tables and chairs to needy schools as per their requirement.
