The number of permanent, regulated, daily wage earners and deputation employees in Municipal Corporation Bhopal has crossed 15 thousand. In such a situation, the employees posted in some branches of the corporation are being monitories for their efficiency towards allotted jobs. There are employees who earn a salary by not working but take salary only after punching their attendance.
Now to catch such employees and take action against them, Mayor Malti Rai has asked for the list of employees related to all the departments. The mayor will also conduct a department-wise review on Tuesday. GAD has issued a letter regarding this to all the departments.
Earlier, Commissioner KVS Chowdhary also assured the employees that he would do something better for them.
