BJP's state in-charge, party's chief whip in Rajya Sabha MP Laxmikant Vajpayee reached Jharkhand to participate in BJP Halla Boll programme. Party workers from 32,000 villages will gather in Ranchi on April 11 to participate in halla boll programme which is gherao of state secretariat. The BJP agitation is to remind the Hemant Soren government of its promises and poor law and order situation in state.
Talking to reporters at Ranchi's Birsa Munda Airport, he said that the time has come to throw out Hemant Soren's government from the state. He said that we will go among the public and inform them about the misdeeds of the government. On termination of Lok Sabha membership of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, the BJP leader said that BJP has no role in termination of Rahul Gandhi membership, but Lok Sabha acted in terminating the membership after Surat Court judgment. He said the matter is in court.
He said that now BJP workers will work to remove the present government in a constitutional manner and the Halla bol programme is in this direction. Jharkhand BJP will gherao the Jharkhand cabinet on April 11 as per the schedule. The entire party is engaged in its preparations. BJP state in-charge Laxmikant Vajpayee will also inquire about the preparations for this programme. Party officials claim that the gherao of the Jharkhand ministry on April 11 will be a historic gherao. Talking about the preparations for this movement, big banners written with the slogans Hemant Hatao, Jharkhand Bachao have started being put up at the square-intersections. State President Deepak Prakash said in the press conference in the past that after the block and district level demonstrations, BJP workers will now force Hemant Sarkar to leave the throne with a huge demonstration in the capital according to the public sentiment of the state. He said that the April 11 demonstration and the Secretariat siege would be historic. People from all sections including farmers, laborers, youth, women, tribals, Dalits, backward classes will participate in this.
Preparations are being made for organizing the programme. Party officials said that on April 11, the present government will come to know what is the attitude of the public towards the government. The rule of the government here for three years has been bad governance. This government is going to strike the hearts of the unemployed. It is a government that snatches employment.
