Bharatiya Janata Party (Bokaro) Chas Nagar North celebrated 9th International Yoga Day with all enthusiasm in Bhojpur Colony and Naveen Cooperative on June 21.
MLA Bokaro Biranchi Narayan said yoga has emerged as one of the most trusted means to boost physical and mental well-being. This year, the theme for International Yoga Day is "Yoga for Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam," which beautifully encapsulates our collective aspiration for "One Earth, One Family, One Future." The Legislator specifically added that it is a proud moment of our Nation where our Prime Minister Narendra Modi led a unique yoga session at the U.N. Headquarters in a historic celebration to commemorate the 9th International Day and its only Prime minister eminent leadership which has given Yoga an International identity .
Also at district level Yoga programme was organized under the leadership of Acharya Swami Raghavendra of Chinmaya Mission Chas. BJP District General Secretary Sanjay Tyagi. Tyagi said that Yoga has made an identity in the world when Prime Minister Narendra Modi proposed this in the United Nations, and at same time 175 countries supported it.
