Young Indians Jamshedpur organised the first annual Art Exhibition (Arts Exhibition) at Sreenath University. On the occasion, 50 paintings and more than 20 sculptures were displayed on various expressions.
College students are doing excellent work in the first year of their graduation course. On this occasion, team learning conducted a roundtable discussion with the students on the topic 'How to sell your artwork'. Divya Taneja, director of the famous art gallery 'Off the Wall' in the city, conducted this session and gave tips to the students studying painting and sculpture.
It is noteworthy that Sreenath University is probably the first university in Jharkhand to have started Fine Arts course. Divya Taneja told the students of the first year of graduate course that every student has to create his own brand and give maximum exposure to his paintings or other art works so that his attraction among the people increases. Some students asked questions related to the new art form digital art, which was answered by Divya Taneja. Earlier, the chief guest of the two-day exhibition was Nishith Kumar Sinha, Head, Statutory Compliance Management and Societies, Tata Steel. A diverse collection of artistic works were displayed in the exhibition. Paintings for visitors to see Beautiful sculptures and excellent pottery were displayed.
All the students of the university, assistant professors, art lovers and general public of the city participated in the exhibition. Nalin Chandra, HOD, Department of Fine Arts, said that the objective of the exhibition was to promote artistic expression of the students. and to provide a platform to our budding artists to share their unique perspectives with the community. Ganesh Mahto and Neha Pandey, Assistant Professors, Department of Fine Arts coordinated the fine arts exhibition. Dr. Govind Mahto, Vice Chancellor, Shreenath University said that Srinath University is the only university in the city where Fine Arts is available as a course.
