Ophthalmology Department of All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Bhopal has taken big initiative for the relatives of eye donors in AIIMS Bhopal.
As per the directions of Executive Director Prof. (Dr.) Ajai Singh, initiative of “Green Card” has been taken to give priority to any two closely related family members of eye donors in any investigation and treatment in AIIMS Bhopal. With this unique initiative of the Executive Director, it will inspire the people for eye donation. With this initiative efforts are being made to brighten up the dark life of the needy.
Eye Bank Team of Ophthalmology Department of AIIMS, Bhopal is ready 24 x 7 (Telephone 0755-2983988, email – eyebank@aiimsbhopal.edu.in) to provide the services tirelessly. With the inspiration and untiring efforts of Prof. (Dr.) Ajai Singh, Executive Director of AIIMS Bhopal, the green card facility was initiated. AIIMS Bhopal and the Department of Ophthalmology will always be indebted to those eye donors, who helped the Department of Ophthalmology of All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Bhopal in brightening the dark life of others with the help of their relatives after their death.
