A top team from Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) visited BHEL, Bhopal on Thursday. The team included Atul Bhandakkar, Director (Technical), Thomas Mathew, Executive Director (QA), Rajesh, Executive Director (Procurement) and SB Dharmadhikari, Deputy Chief Engineer.
Upinder Singh Matharu, Director (Power & Additional Charge HR), BHEL and Vinay Nigam, Executive Director, BHEL, Bhopal and Jhansi were also present on the occasion.
During this, the team inspected the jobs being manufactured by BHEL, Bhopal for NPCIL at Golden Jubilee, Block-1 and reviewed the facilities available in the factory. After this, the NPCIL team discussed various issues with Director (Power & Additional Charge HR) Upinder Singh Matharu; Executive Director Vinay Nigam and all General Managers.
On this occasion, Executive Director, Bhopal and Jhansi Vinay Nigam gave information through a presentation about various products of BHEL, Bhopal and informed everyone about the work going on here. He said that BHEL occupies an important place in the industrial world and Its role is important in the industrial development of the country. With world class facilities available at BHEL, Bhopal factory, new products will also be manufactured at BHEL in future.
Meanwhile, in a simple programme held at Administrative Building BHEL, Bhopal Vinay Nigam, Executive Director BHEL, Bhopal bade farewell to Rameshwar Choudhari, General on attaining the age of superannuation. Nigam in his address appreciated the contribution extended by Choudhuri in various capacities. On this occasion all general managers were present.
