Bhopal Crime Branch arrested a bootlegger from Chhola area and seized 56.88 liters of country made liquor from the accused worth Rs 60000.
The Crime Branch received information that a person was in the Chola area with liquor.
On the basis of the information, the team left and caught the accused. The team seized 56.88 liters of country made liquor from the accused.
Police are interrogating others involved in the nexus. At around 9.30 in the evening on Wednesday, the Crime Branch received information from the informer that an unknown person was carrying illegal liquor in sacks in Shri Ram Nagar of Chhola Mandir area. Based on the information, the team left immediately, when the team reached the designated place, a person was found selling illicit liquor by keeping it in a white sack.
