Keeping up with its tradition of supplying officers to the armed forces, 37 cadets from Sainik School Ghorakhal have cleared the written examination of prestigious National Defence Academy (NDA).
The school said that 37 cadets have cleared UPSC NDA written examination 2023 (for 152 NDA course 114 INA course) which is the highest number among all the 33 Sainik Schools in India.
The principal of school group captain VS Dangwal congratulated the cadets for their achievement. He emphasised the importance of staying focused and resolute as they pursue their final target of becoming a part of India’s defence forces. "The journey does not end here. We stand beside these remarkable young individuals as they continue their pursuit of excellence,’’ he said.
“Sainik School Ghorakhal is providing a structured and rigorous framework that prepares young aspirants for a career in the military. The school has been significantly contributing towards NDA entries since its inception,’’ a communiqué from the school said.
