133 newly recruited medical officers get certificates

After the five day training programme all 133 recently recruited medical officers have received certificates from the State Health Minister Banna Gupta in the State Capital on Friday.

Giving certificates to the all 133 newly recruited medical officers, Gupta said that doctors are full of human sensibilities and that's why they come in this field of service. He was speaking as the chief guest at the Public Health Institute, Namkum.

On the occasion the Health Minister taught the newly appointed medical officers the lesson of sensitivity, duty and encouraged them to stand firm for the service of the patients. He said that the people of the State are looking forward to the newly appointed medical officers. “You have serious responsibilities like improving maternal health, institutional delivery and the health index of children. There is a need to work with this thinking of how to strengthen our Government hospitals,” he added.

“Generally poor, helpless and needy people come to Government hospitals with the belief that their lives will be saved. That's why doctors should fulfill their responsibility well. After on-the-spot training, certificates were given to 133 medical officers,” said Gupta.

On this occasion, Additional Chief Secretary of Health Department, Arun Kumar Singh said that training is a continuous process. “This training was organized with the aim of providing technical information as well as practical information to the newly appointed doctors. Administrative and financial training was also given in the training, so that there is no problem during the work in the hospital. The newly appointed medical officers have been posted at such places where doctors are required. If there is additional requirement of manpower, then assess it and inform the department so that further action can be taken. Medical officers who received training during the program also shared their experiences,” he added.

On the occasion Campaign Director of National Health Mission, Dr Bhuvnesh Pratap Singh, Director Chief Health Services, Dr Birendra Prasad Singh, Director of IPH, Dr John F Kennedy, Deputy Director of Health Department, Dr. RN Sharma, In-charge of various cells of National Health Mission, consultants, Coordinator and others were present. Rafat Farzana conducted the program and Dr RN Sharma proposed the vote of thanks.
