: Union Minister for State for Tribal Welfare and Jal Sakti Mission Bishweswar Tudu attended six meetings of the BJP workers at different places of Nuapada district on Tuesday.
He arrived at Khariar Road from Raipur by road. Nuapada district BJP gave him a grand welcome at the CG-Odisha border through a massive public gathering. Tudu visited the railway station at Khariar Road and discussed with the railway station master. Meetings of party workers were held at Nuapada, Komna, Khariar, Liti Sargi and Sinapali.
"The meetings were held on the eve of the 9th anniversary of the BJP Government at the Centre with an objective to train party workers to strengthen the party organisation. Our Government at the Centre has taken the nation to a new height. Seva, Sushasan Evum Ghareeb Kalyan’ (service, good governance and welfare of the poor) are the main mottos," said the local leaders present on this occasion.
"The State Government is misleading the people by branding the Central schemes as its own. Through various public relations campaigns, we are planning to reach out to the people to inform them about the reality," said Tudu. During his visit, the Union Minister was accompanied by Kalahandi MP Basant Kumar Panda.
