Governor CP Radhakrishnan today listened to the 100th edition of 'Mann Ki Baat' at Raj Bhavan along with state dignitaries which included Padma awardees, academicians and people from different walks of society. The Governor on the occasion also inaugurated an exhibition based on 'Mann Ki Baat' at Raj Bhavan.
On the occasion, the Governor said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi strong bilingual communication skills and strong leadership vision attracts people not only from our country but from all over the world. Due to his inspiring personality and dynamic works, the new generation of the country considers him as their role model. The Governor said that we have just listened to the 100th episode of "Mann Ki Baat". “Mann Ki Baat” radio program is now being broadcast in 23 languages, 29 dialects and 11 foreign languages in India. “Mann Ki Baat” is an effective platform to not only acknowledge the tireless efforts but also to reward the hidden talents who play a significant role in bringing small but significant positive changes in the society.
“Mann Ki Baat,” a monthly radio programme hosted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, was first aired on October 3, 2014. The program is aired on the last Sunday of every month and has garnered a massive following across the world. Accordingly, Sunday's broadcast was particularly significant as it marked the 100th episode of the popular show. This milestone episode was broadcast live from the United Nations headquarters in New York as well.
Beginning the 100th episode, he said that like Vijayadashmi, Mann Ki Baat has also become an occasion to celebrate Indians’ goodness, optimism, positivity and people’s participation.
The Prime Minister highlighted the work being done by the people of Jharkhand, such as the cultivation of Aloe Vera in Deori village of Ranchi under the leadership of Manju Kachchh, and the cultivation of lemon grass in Gumla.
