The Democratic Progressive Azad Party on Monday welcomed Saddam Nabi Azad for actively joining politics at Srinagar.
Saddam, the son of former Chief minister Ghulam Nabi Azad and DPAP Chairman, formally joined politics during a Youth interaction programme held at Srinagar.
The 41-year-old Saddam is a businessman and has pursued his studies from England.
“We welcome Saddam Nabi Azad for deciding to join active politics. Given his exposure and vision, he will be a guiding force for our youth. “We are welcoming him and looking forward to his contribution.” said RS Chib, General Secretary.
