Many trains to remain cancelled, diverted

(): In connection with the doubling work of Aunrihar-Bhatni railway section under Varanasi Division of North Eastern Railway (NER) and commissioning of New Peokol station and construction work of bypass line between Bhatni-Peokol by the Railway administration for upgradation of passenger facilities and operational apart from strengthening of infrastructure, several trains will remain cancelled and diverted apart from short termination/short origination and rescheduling of their timings from Friday.  In this section, pre-non-interlock work will be done till November 5, while non-interlock work from November 4 to 8. The inspection of the Commissioner of Railway Safety (CRS) is scheduled there on November 8.

The trains which will remain cancelled are 15130 Varanasi City-Gorakhpur Express running from Varanasi City from October 27 to November 8 and 15129 from Gorakhpur from October 27 to November 10. 05149/05150 and 05151/05152 Bhatni-Barhaj-Bhatni special trains running from Bhatni and Barhaj from October 27 to November 8 will be partially cancelled between Bhatni and Salempur. 01748/01747 Banaras-Bhatni-Varanasi City special train running from Banaras and Bhatni from October 27 to November 8 will remain cancelled apart from 05148 Varanasi City-Bhatni special train running from Varanasi City from October 27 to November 8; 05147 Bhatni-Varanasi City special train running from Bhatni from October 28 to November  9;  05156/05155 Gorakhpur-Chhapra-Gorakhpur special train running from Gorakhpur and Chhapra from October 28 to November 8; 05444/05443 Gorakhpur-Chhapra-Mau special running from Mau and Chapra from October 28 to November 8; 05142 Gorakhpur-Siwan special train running from Gorakhpur from November  4 to 8; 05141 Siwan-Nakaha Jungle special train running from Siwan from November 5 to 9; 12538/12537 Prayagraj Rambagh-Muzaffarpur-Prayagraj Rambagh Bi-Weekly Express running from Prayagraj Rambagh and Muzaffarpur on October  30 and November 1, 6 and 8; 15104/15103 Banaras-Gorakhpur-Banaras Express running from Banaras and Gorakhpur from November  2 to 8; 15105/15106 Chhapra-Nautanwa-Chhapra Express running from Chhapra and Nautanwa from November 4 to 8; 12530/12529 Lucknow Jn-Patliputra-Lucknow Jn Express running from Lucknow Jn and Patliputra on November  4, 7 and 8.

Besides, the routes of many trains will be diverted during the period. Apart from this, many trains will have short termination/ short origination during the period. 12165/ 12166 LTT-Gorakhpur-LTT Express; 01027/ 01028 Dadar-Gorakhpur-Dadar special train; 19489/ 14490 Ahmedabad-Gorakhpur –Ahmedabad Express will remain cancelled between Mau and Gorakhpur as their short origination/ short termination will have at Mau. 15008/ 15007 Lucknow Jn-Varanasi City-Lucknow Jn Express will remain cancelled between Gorakhpur-Varanasi City and 19091/ 19092 Bandra Terminus-Gorakhpur- Bandra Terminus Express will remain cancelled between Mau and Gorakhpur.
