Maha, 19 cos ink MOUs of Rs 1.4 L-Crore

Maharashtra’s new Governor Ramesh Bais said on Monday that the state government had signed Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) with 19 companies for an investment of Rs. 1. 37 lakh crore at the Davos World Investment Conference held in January 2023

Bias made this announcement while delivering his joint address to both the Houses of Maharashtra Legislature on the first day of the budget session

The Governor said that State Government would organize 600 job fairs in the financial year 2022-23. “Memoranda Understanding were signed with 45 companies to create 1 lakh 25 thousand jobs”. “Twenty-four project proposals have been approved which amount to an investment of Rs. 87 thousand 774 crore, creating 61 thousand jobs,” he said.
