The government on Monday transferred seven IAS officers of Joint AGMUT cadres with immediate effect. As per order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Ira Singhal, a 2015 batch cadre and Aman Gupta (2013 batch), both from Delhi have been asked to join postings in Arunachal Pradesh and Andaman and Nicobar respectively. Singal, who is specially abled, topped the UPSC exam in 2014 and is an inspiration for many. She is the first differently-abled to achieve that feat in the general category. As per the order, IAS official Arun T (2013 batch) cadre has been moved from Puducherry to Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu (DNH&DD).
IAS official Suneel Anchipaka (2014 batch) who is serving in Andaman Nicobar has been moved to Goa while Ankita Anand and Mekala Chatanya Prasad, both from 2015 batch have been transferred from DNH & DD to Delhi.
