Light rainfall and thundery activities were witnessed in the state capital on Wednesday; day temperature increased marginally from dips. West Madhya Pradesh regions recorded higher temperatures while east Madhya Pradesh region were quiet pleasing.
State capital recorded 39 degree celsius in the day while night provided relief at 23 degree celsius.
Under the current active systems day temperatures are likely to increase by 3-4 degree celsius in the next two days.
Rain was recorded at some places in Anuppur district and the weather remained mainly dry in the rest of the districts.
The maximum temperature is especially in the districts of Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain and Gwalior divisions, and significant fall was witnessed in Sagar division and there was no significant change in the districts of the rest of the divisions.
Day temperatures were recorded more than normal in the districts of Rewa and Shahdol divisions, in the districts of Bhopal and Gwalior divisions Less than normal, much less than normal in the districts of Indore and Ujjain divisions and for the rest of the divisions.
State's highest day temperature was recorded at 43 degree celsius at Umaria, Sidhi, Damoh, Satna.
Met department has issued warning of thundery activities, speedy winds in in the districts of Rewa and Shahdol divisions and Balaghat and Betul districts.
