The mountainous regions of the State may experience inclement weather today. The State meteorological centre has issued a yellow warning (watch) regarding the possibility of thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and intense showers at isolated places in the mountainous regions on Wednesday. Apart from this, light to moderate rainfall/thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places in the mountains and at isolated places in the plains of the State today.
The provisional State capital Dehradun is forecast to experience light to moderate rainfall/thundershowers in some areas. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be about 33 degrees Celsius and 24 degrees Celsius respectively in Dehradun on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, the maximum and minimum temperatures recorded in various parts of the State on Tuesday were 32.9 degrees Celsius and 23.7 degrees Celsius respectively in Dehradun, 34.2 degrees Celsius and 24.5 degrees Celsius in Pantnagar, 22.7 degrees Celsius and 14.4 degrees Celsius in Mukteshwar and 24.4 degrees Celsius and 17.8 degrees Celsius respectively in New Tehri.
