Miscreants targeted a house at Ring Garden society under Nishatpura police station area and burgled valuables worth Rs 1 lakh; the family had gone on visit and when returned home was found ransacked.
Police said that the victim Ravi Kumar Meena along with his family had gone to visit relatives and returned late in the night and found that valuables were burgled.
The victim in his complaint stated that he along with family had gone to meet relatives and when they returned late in the night the main door was found broken and the house was ransacked.
Victim approached the police and lodged a complaint. Based on the complaint after the preliminary investigation the police have registered a case under sections 454 and 380 of the IPC and have started further investigation.
After checking the valuables, the victim found that gold and silver jewelry and other goods worth over Rs 1 lakh were burgled. Police suspect that the burglars were aware of the whereabouts of the family and committed the burglary when the family was away.
Police suspect that the miscreants were aware of the routine of the victims which helped them to steal valuables in little time. The CCTV footage of the area would be investigated in the further investigation while the habitual offenders of the area would be rounded up to enquire about the burglary.
