Two persons including a girl died while two escaped with injuries after their bike collided with an ambulance in Shyamla Hills, girl came to Bhopal in search of a job four days ago, while the youth was working in an under-construction project of Bansal Group.
The girl had gone out with her brother on Thursday at Upper Laker during which she met with an accident and died. There were four people on the bike, out of which two are undergoing treatment at the hospital. The police handed over the dead body to the relatives after a post mortem.
According to the information, Deepika Uike (19) of Amarvada in Chhindwara, completed a Nursing diploma and was looking for a job. During this her friends asked her to search for a job in Bhopal. Deepika came to Bhopal on Monday with her younger sister Khushbu. Stayed at her brother's house in Bhopal.
On Thursday, Deepika went to visit Upper Lake with her sister and brother's friend. Four people were riding on the bike, during which, while overtaking in the BRTS corridor (Bhopal Bus Rapid Transit System) between Polytechnic Chauraha to Banganga square an ambulance coming from Banganga collided. In which Deepika and Kamta suffered serious injuries. Both died before reaching the hospital while two others were seriously injured. Those who are undergoing treatment at Bhopal's Sunshine Hospital.
Police have started an investigation into the matter. The ambulance driver would be questioned while the statement of the injured persons are yet to be recorded.
