Atwo-day workshop on ‘Transition to Alternatives to SUP in-line to Implementation of Plastics Waste Management (PWM)Rule:2021(Amendment) in MSME Units’ is organized at CIPET Bhopal on June 28 and 29 in which Secretary, MSME Department, MP P Narahari was the Chief Guest.
Along with the other guests AA Mishra, Member Secretary MPPCB Bhopal, P Jagan, Regional Director CPCB Bhopal, MP Singh, Deputy Commissioner Municipal Corporation Bhopal were also present!
Various delegates and industry participants from different departments like Central Pollution Control Board, Chhattisgarh Environment Protection Board Raipur, ITC Limited Bangalore, Bhopal Municipal Corporation, Thiagaraj College of Engineering Madurai (Online) The Energy and Resources participated in the workshop.
Around 53 participants from different cities like Indore, Dewas, Pithampur, Hoshangabad, Jabalpur, Mandideep, Raisen, were participated in the workshop.
The workshop was duly inaugurated by lighting the lamp by the guests, after which all the guests were welcomed by the Principal Director and Head of the Institute, Dr. Sandesh Kumar Jain, with a book and a shawl.
In his Inaugural address P.Narahari, Secretary, MSME Department, M.P., told that the Govt. of M.P. is government requested all the concerned industries to follow the rules directed by the Government of India for single use plastic and expressed happiness to conduct such workshop by CIPET.
AA Mishra, Member Secretary, MPPCB Bhopal, gave necessary information regarding the restrictions on single-use plastic products to be implemented from July 1, 2022.
In this workshop, various National experts have their experiences and technical knowledge among all the people. A technical session has also organized by CIPET for manufacturing and testing of single use plastics as per latest Guidelines.
This workshop was organized with the support of CPCB, New Delhi and in association with MPPCB Bhopal and CECB Raipur (C.G.).
