Speaker under pressure to cancel my membership: Marandi

The first chief minister of State and leader of BJP legislature party in Assembly Babulal Marandi has said that Speaker of Jharkhand assembly Ravindra Nath Mahto is bent upon getting my membership cancelled 'by hook or by crook'  under pressure from the state government.

Marandi levelled allegations in Dhanbad today afternoon while returning from Dumka. He said that the Speaker is not following the rules and has become a party to the government in this case, though the government has been slammed by the Supreme Court in this regard.

A series of complaints right from former Dhanwar MLA RK Yadav of CPI-ML,then by Bhushan Bara of JMM and Deepika Pandey of Congress was filed and they filed lastly took support of Pradeep Yadav and Bandhu Tirkey, claimed Marandi.

He said, "I am aware what decision the Speaker would take. Further legal action would  be taken after consulting party top brass and lawyers once the decision comes."

Commenting on the present scenario of State Marandi said , they boast by saying" Hemant hai to Himmat hai".

This is visible as criminals, rapists and  those involved in crime against women, smugglers and those involved in looting of state resources have got "himmat" since this government came in power.

Expressing deep concern over the Dumka burn case ,Marandi demanded suspension of DSP Noor Mustafa immediately for supporting criminals besides legal action against him if the government wants impartial inquiry in this case.

Adding more he said , if all is well why the MLAs are being taken to Raipur by a chartered flight .

the joint aegis of School Education and Literacy Department, Government of Jharkhand and Sahodaya School Group, Hazaribag, 'Academic Counseling Session' was inaugurated by the Deputy Commissioner of the district, Nancy Sahay. Selected students from all government and non-government schools of the district participated in this one-day counseling session. Addressing the students of class X, XI and XII, the Deputy Commissioner said in  her session that they  should evaluate themselves and choose their  career keeping in mind their interest and ability. In preparing for competitive examinations. They may be serious  after graduation, but from school life itself,  they must make it a habit to read newspapers daily. Responding to the academic questions of the students present in the auditorium, the Deputy Commissioner said that regularly eight to ten hours is enough for the preparation of civil services. Prepare in a systematic manner by paying equal attention to both your weakness and strength. Have special respect and trust towards your teachers and parents who help you get up from the falls. On this occasion, Col J.K. Singh  ,Commandant  Jharkhand Police Academy while instilling the spirit of patriotism among the children said that they should dedicate their  life to the service of the nation. Convenor of the program Ashok Kumar, Principal of DAV School and President of Sahodaya said that teachers are the builders of the future generation of the country. Along with completing the syllabus, be helpful in making the students physically and mentally strong. In the welcome address, District Education Officer Upendra Narayan said that students should not be disappointed if they get less marks or lack of selection, but prepare more vigorously. The children of DAV School presented  a wonderful cultural performance on the occasion. At the end of the program, the secretary of Sahodaya Sahodaya and the Principal of St. Xavier's School, Father Roshanar, expressed thanks.Principal Ehsanul Haque, Oasis school ,and the teachers like Manoj Khandelwal,  Bijay Dubey, Ananya, Honey Chandra and others  played a special role in organizing the programme.
