Six IAS, two IPS get fresh postings

The Chhattisgarh government on Tuesday issued fresh posting orders for six Indian Administrative Service (IAS) and two Indian Police Service (IPS) officers here.

A 2006 batch IAS officer, Secretary (Energy) Ankit Anand has been given additional charge as Secretary to the Chief Minister Secretariat.

Gariaband Collector Namrata Gandhi (IAS, 2013) has been made Joint Secretary, Chhattisgarh State Secretariat. Raipur Municipal Commissioner Prabhat Malik (2015 batch IAS) will be the Gariaband Collector.

A 2016 batch IAS officer and the Raigarh District Panchayat Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Ravi Mittal was named the Raipur District Panchayat CEO. Raipur District Panchayat CEO Mayank Chaturvedi (IAS, 2017) has become the Raipur Municipal Commissioner.

Dantewada Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) and 2018 batch IAS officer Avinash Mishra has been appointed as Raigarh District Panchayat CEO.

Meanwhile, Balod Superintendent of Police (SP) Gowardhan Ram Thakur (IPS, 2011) has been given charge as the Assistant Inspector General of Police in Police Headquarters in Nava Raipur.

A 2018 batch IPS officer and the Additional Superintendent of Police (Operations), Jitendra Kumar Yadav, posted in Bhanupratappur, has been given charges as the Balod SP.
