Aam Aadmi Party’s star campaigner Sanjay Singh started door to door campaigning in support of party’s candidates Sooraj Pradhan in Mohanlalganj and Engineer Alok Singh in Lucknow East constituencies on Sunday.

Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Singh along with AAP leaders appealed to the public to vote for AAP candidate, saying the party will solve the public issues as per through the Kejriwal guarantee scheme.

He said AAP would provide unemployment allowance to youths, allowance to women, round the clock electricity supply, 300 units free electricity and waive old bills.

During the campaign, Singh told the people about the party manifesto in which the AAP has promised free bus travel to women and elderly people, 25 per cent of the budget for education and setting up of hospitals and basic facilities to the people.

Singh said AAP would sweep all the ‘dirt’ of UP politics. He also distributed the party manifesto among the people during the campaign.

He had also made door to door campaigning for the party's Lucknow North candidate Amit Srivastava in the recent past.

The AAP leaders and party workers were camping in Mohanlalganj and Lucknow East constituencies to campaign for the party's candidates besides other constituencies in Lucknow district.

The leaders are trying to woo the voters by comparing AAP candidates with the candidates of other parties on the basis of their educational background, their uncontroversial image, Kejriwal’s model of governance in Delhi, the success stories of the Kejriwal government in New Delhi and other such aspects.
