RSS Prakatotsav organised at Lal Parade ground

Monday, 12 December 2022 | Staff Reporter | bhopal

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh's ‘Prakatotsav’ programme was organised at the Lal Parade Ground in Bhopal on Sunday evening. Former Central Election Commissioner OP Rawat was the Chief Guest of the programme.

Addressing the gathering, Sangh's Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale said that this programme is like the annual festival of Bhopal Vibhag. He described the Sangh as a way to make the society strong and get a respectable place in the world.

In the programme, more than 3000 volunteers demonstrated daily physical exercises in shakhas. Pranth Sanghchalak Ashok Pandey, Dr. Rajesh Sethi was also present in the programme.

Sarkaryakrayak Dattatreya Hosabale talked about two main aspects of the Sangh. The first is personality building and the second is social organisation. The goal of both the aspects is the same that is the ultimate glory of India.

He said that if the people who wish for the welfare of the world are not capable of themselves, then only giving good wishes will not work, so we are working for the ultimate glory of India as the first step. In the next phase, as India realizes its power, it wants to serve the world.

On the relationship between mind and body, he said that a healthy mind can only live in a healthy body. Those who are thorns in society do not think about society. One does not become a patriot only by being a member of the Sangh, but a common citizen also has responsibilities toward nation building.

When people start living with discipline, then in public and personal life, as a disciplined society at the workplace, we can take India on the path of progress by creating a society that follows rules, respects others.

He said that working alone is difficult; it is also difficult to work together with four people, that's why we get scattered here. There is a tradition of division in political parties.

There are many times quarrels in partnership. Working together, this collectivism is taught in the Sangh which spreads the message of unity in diversity. Hence the RSS volunteers can be seen during helping people during natural calamities.
