A five-member team of the Railway Board appointed by the Ministry of Railways, visited Bokaro on Thursday. On the first day, the members visited Bokaro Railway Station falling under Adra Division.During their visit, the members of the Railway Board expressed concern about passenger convenience, cleanliness, taking information related to safety and took many feedbacks from railway vendors as well.
During their visit in the Adra rail division, many railway officials including ARM, Station Master of Bokaro were present.
The team also inspected the CCTV control panel room installed for security in the railway station and worked to know the arrangements. During this, the members also worked to get feedback from railway passengers related to Bokaro railway station.
Railway Board member Gurvinder Singh Sethi said that after inspection, the deficiencies and suggestions are given in writing to the DRM concerned and through DRM, those problems and solutions are given to the Delhi railway board. In the meeting held in the month, all these topics are discussed in our presence.
Board member Gurvinder Singh Sethi said that since Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister in the country, there has been continuous improvement in the railways. Passenger convenience, security, cleanliness and modernization of railway stations are also being done.
At present, the railway station is being developed on the lines of the airport,added Sethi.
Passenger amenities are being continuously increased, so that passengers do not face any problem. The work of the members is to bring the shortcomings and important things before the Railway Board along with inspection, so that the system can be improved.
