Ragni and Song Mahotsav at Kalagram from Nov 4 - 6

In the series of programmes under 75th ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’, a three day programme from November 4 to 6, 2022 showcasing the shade of Haryanvi folk culture will be organised at Kalagram in Tricity where renowned folk singers and musicians are going to left the audience spellbound by their performances.

 

An official spokesperson of Haryana Government said that under the aegis of North Zone Cultural Center, Patiala and Ministry of Culture, Government of India, a 3-day Ragni and Song Mahotsav will be organized daily at 6 pm from November 4 to 6 at Kalagram in Manimajra, Chandigarh. No entry free will be charged in the programme. On November 4, the famous Haryanvi folk singers Bali Sharma and Sangi Babu Dan Singh are going to leave everyone entranced, while Amit Malik and Vishnu Dutt will perform their respective performances on the second day on November 5.

 

Sarita Kashyap and Deepak Julana will present an important message of Amrit Mahotsav during the closing day on November 6. To make the people of tricity aware of Haryanvi Folk Culture, Haryana Information, Public Relations and Languages and Art and Culture Departments have been organizing such programmes from time to time in collaboration with North Zone Cultural Centre, Patiala. These Departments have a special contribution in making these programmes successful.
