Prez,  Guv, CM , political leaders condole death of PM Modi's mother

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's mother Heeraben Modi passed away at the age of 100 years today (December 30). PM Modi took to Twitter to inform the nation about the sad demise of her mother. PM wrote about his meeting with his mother on her 100th birthday and shared her way of life which was - to work with intelligence and live life with purity.

"A glorious century rests at the feet of God... In Maa I have always felt that trinity, which contains the journey of an ascetic, the symbol of a selfless Karmayogi and a life committed to values," PM tweeted while informing the nation about the passing away of her mother.

President Droupadi Murmu on Friday condoled the passing away of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's mother Hiraben. Murmu said Modi imbibed the values of Hiraben in his life. "I pray for the peace of the holy soul. My condolences to the family!" the president tweeted.

"Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's mother Heeraba's hundred years of struggle is a symbol of Indian ideals. Shri Modi imbibed the spirit of '#Matradevobhav' and the values of Hiraba in his life. I pray for the peace of the holy soul. My condolences to the family!," Murmu tweeted in Hindi

Leaders cutting across party lines in Country and heads of various countries expressed their condolence over the death of passing away of Hiraben. Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren expressed his condolence over the death of Hiraben. CM Soren in his condolence message tweeted, “Deeply saddened to hear the news of the demise of hon’ble PM @narendramodi  Ji’s mother. A parent’s loss is irreplaceable & at this hour of grief, I express my sincere condolences. May her departed soul rest in peace.”
Governor Ramesh Bais also expressed his condolence. Meanwhile, BJP leaders also expressed their condolence. Expressing condolences, BJP State President and MP Deepak Prakash said that the news of the demise of our Prime Minister Narendra Modi's mother, Mother Heeraben ji is very sad, my mind is very distressed. May God give peace to the departed soul and respected Prime Minister and May his family be given the strength to bear this unbearable pain.

Expressing condolences, BJP Legislature Party leader cum first Chief Minister of the state Babulal Marandi said that the name of two mothers will always be taken with respect in history, first, mother Jijabai, who inspired Veer Shivaji to establish Hindavi Swaraj And the second mother Heeraben Modi, with whose inspiration the great son Narendra Bhai Modi restored the Hind Empire in India. The simplicity in which mother lived, she left in the same simplicity. O God, give him a place at your holy feet. Only her child can understand the pain of mother's departure.

 Expressing condolences, Organization General Secretary of Jharkhand Pradesh Karmaveer Singh said that mother Heeraben had brought up her family after suffering a lot of pain and suffering. It is due to his education that India got a hardworking, hardworking, honest and successful Prime Minister like Narendra Modi. I am saddened by the news of his demise. I pray to God to give the departed soul a place at his feet.

  Jharkhand BJP state's regional organization General Secretary Nagendra Nath Tripathi, State General Secretary cum Rajya Sabha MP Aditya Sahu, Dr. Pradeep Verma, Balmukund Sahay and other leaders also expressed condolences on the death of mother Heeraben.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi performed the last rites of his mother Heeraben Modi in Gandhinagar. PM Modi, who had reached Gandhinagar early this morning, consigned the mortal remains of his mother Heeraben Modi to fire along with his brothers. Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, former CM Vijay Rupani, and Cabinet Ministers of Gujarat were present for Hiraba Modi`s last rites.
