Bokaro police have arrested two hardcore extremists belonging to banned outfits NSPM (New Sashtra Peoples Morcha ) in separate operations in the Chatrochati and Gomia PS areas of the district. Police have also recovered arms and ammunition from them.
SP, Bokaro, Chandan Kumar Jha, shared this information in a press conference held in his office chamber on Friday. He said that in a special search operation in Gomia area of same block of the district, police have arrested a member of NSPM (New Sashtra Peoples Morcha ) Ramesh Karmali, alias Ramakant alias Rameshwar son of Garib Karmali a resident of Hurlung village within limits of Chatrochati police station of Bokaro district. At present he is working with NSPM, a banned organisation.
SP Chandan Kumar Jha said that Ramesh Karmali is the named accused in 16 different cases lodged at different police stations included Gomia, Bermo ,BokaroThermal, Kathara and Chanderpura police ststion of the district.
In another special search operation the police team arrested member of NSPM (New Sashtra Peoples Morcha) Mahendra Thakur, a resident of Sadam area under Gomia police station of Bokaro district. Mahendra is the main accused of 12 different cases lodged in the police stations included Barkatta, Bokaro Thermal, Chatrochati, Ichak, Mandu and Bagodar of Hazaribagh and Bokaro district.
Police have recovered three Carbine, one semi automatic pistol, 9 live cartridge, one deshi katta, 5 no of pouch, 6 pc pant, 01 CRPF uniform, 2 pairs of inklets, one pittu, 4 no of black belt, one motorcycle, 6 no of mobiles.
Police sources said that related with same case, 8 to 10 armed criminals had open fired and pasting posters in the railway siding of CCL,in Jarandih, in this context a case (117/21) was registered in Bokaro thermal police station. While the police have already arrested 9 people and sent them to jail.
The police team led by SDPO Bermo Satish Chandra Jha and other police officers included Inspector cum Officer in charge BokaroThermal Ravindra Kumar Singh, Gomia police station officer in-charge Ashish Khaka, Prince Kumar of Gomia OP and others were took part in the raid.
