UK-based Odia entrepreneur and military veteran Arun Kar was honoured with "Mahatma Gandhi Samman" at the House of Commons, British Parliament, London, to commemorate the 153rd birth anniversary celebrations of the Father of the Nation (India). The event was attended by some senior MPs and Lords of the UK Parliament and business tycoons worldwide.
Arun is an eminent achiever who has made a place for himself in his entrepreneurial journey of innovations and is keeping the flag of India high across the globe. He has also brought in many glories by fostering and boosting bilateral business engagements between India and the UK.
Arun Kar gave credit for all his successes to his parents Dr Manoranjan Kar and Rashmi Rekha Kar) and wife Nidhi Kar, his business partner Chintan Panara and his company Xpertnest.
Recently, Arun Kar announced his new venture Global Odia Connect, a digital platform to unite the Odia community of professionals across the globe and bring them under one domain.
