Under the leadership of Madhya Pradesh NSUI Medical Wing, NSUI activists and students burnt the effigy of Medical Education Minister Vishwas Sarang, demanding his resignation.

Accusing Medical Education Minister Vishwas Sarang of corruption, former State Coordinator of NSUI Medical Wing, Ravi Parmar said that in Madhya Pradesh, Medical University Nursing Council and Paramedical Council are distributing fake medical and fake nursing recognition in bulk.

Not only this, by appointing fake and ineligible officers in the Medical University and Nursing Council, scams are being conducted in the examinations, due to which the future of lakhs of medical students of Madhya Pradesh has become bleak.

Ravi Parmar said that Vishwas Sarang talks about the politics of the country and the world every day, but neither has he paid any attention to his department, nor does he have complete knowledge of the medical education department. In medical colleges, dictatorial attitude is being adopted on the employees. Many posts are vacant in the Medical University and Medical Colleges, by starting the recruitment process soon, so that the arrangements of the department can be improved.

He said that the examinations in the Medical University have not been held for the last three years and the results are not declared in time by the university. Hundreds of fake nursing colleges were given recognition for the 2020-21 session by the Medical University last month by making transactions worth lakhs of rupees.

From this, it is clear that Vishwas Sarang is running a big scam in the state. On the other hand, the old matter of nursing students has not been resolved till now, due to which the future of about 15 thousand students has been put in danger due to the forgery of nursing colleges in Madhya Pradesh. The registrar of the Nursing Council, Sunita Shiju, was suspended. Along with this, recognition of 93 nursing colleges was cancelled. However, after that the recognition of 80 nursing colleges was restored within a month.

Ravi Parmar said that there is a rule of transfer and exchange of nursing officers and employees in medical colleges with mutual consent and the rules of general administration should be implemented by changing it immediately. Rule 10 (A) should be amended, seniority should be taken care of in new appointment, deputation should be valid for at least 15 years.

NSUI demanded Vishwas Sarang's resignation, saying that if Vishwas Sarang does not resign soon NSUI will gherao the Chief Minister's residence by protesting fiercely in the entire state.
