RBI observes Hindi Pakhwara
Like every year, Hindi Pakhwada celebrations were celebrated from September 14th to September 29th in the office of Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Ranchi with full enthusiasm. During this various competitions were also organized for the staff members. Hindi Diwas main function was organized on September 29. The function was presided over by General Manager (Officer-in-Charge), Sanjeev Sinha. The Reserve Bank Integrated Ombudsman, Chandana Dasgupta was also present on the occasion. In his address, Sinha said that Hindi is a language which expresses the basic elements of our entire culture. It is now being easily adopted not only in India but all over the world.
XISS, CMPDI organise 'Go Green, Drink Clean'
Xavier Institute of Social Service (XISS), Ranchi and CMPDI organised a 'Go Green, Drink Clean' event by its management students in the Balumath block of Latehar district on Thursday. Organised under the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav by the Rural Management Programme of XISS, the event was conducted in two Schools of Bhagea and Siram Village under the Bhagea Panchayat. The students of XISS performed a Nukkad Natak depicting the importance of ecological balance, planting trees and drinking clean water. Director XISS along with CMPDI officials, Faculty members and more than 30 students in each village shared with the school authorities, students, and villagers the importance of keeping their areas clean and green.
SCS celebrates World Heart Day
Surendra nath Centenary school celebrated world heart day. To mark the occasion Dr Ravi Premchand Kachhela a consultant cardiologist of Maa Ram Pyari hospital and father of a student of our school was invited to address the students of classes XI and XII.The main objective of the session was to create awareness of cardiovascular diseases and provide preventive measures to help reduce the casualties due to heart ailments. Dr Ravi discussed the warning signs of heart attack. He demonstrated the clinical procedure of CPR i.e. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation which is a lifesaving technique and an emergency support given in heart attack. The cardiologist also mentioned that the root cause of all diseases is stress. To be healthy, be planned, prepared and happy. The event was graced by the presence of the Vice Principal of the school, teachers and other staff members.
Mahila Samiti organized Navratri festival
Navratri festival was organized in Bokaro club premises by Mahila Samiti, Bokaro. In the program, the chairman of the committee, Anita Tiwari, the vice-chairmen of the committee and other members were present in large numbers. The members worshiped Maa Durga with great devotion and enthusiasm during the Navratri festival. Along with this dance and dandiya were also organized which was enjoyed by all the members. Chairman Anita wished the entire Bokaro family a happy Dussehra and Durga Utsav on behalf of the Mahila Samiti.
Durga Puja celebrations at OPS
Oxford Public School observed a special assembly on the auspicious occasion of Durga Puja to promote the learning of victory of good over evil. The school also applauded and felicitated the winners of the Badminton and Quiz competition. Students participated from varied categories and exhibited their agility, flair and sportive temperament in the Badminton Competition. Academic Director, Dr. Simi Mehta felicitated the winners with certificates and congratulated all on their splendid display of talent and love for sports. The Vice-Principal, K.R. Jha, praised the students and motivated the victorious position holders for their future endurances. Both wished the staff and the students the best wishes on Durga Puja.
WUIF prepares for litter free Durga Puja
The students of Ranchi, under the banner of Wake Up India Foundation (WUIF), have decided to make Durga Puja pandals litter free. As a part of the two-day campaign, the members of WUIF will install dustbins and create awareness. “Every pandal witnesses hundreds of devotees. However, most of us end up littering the area around the pandal with items such as food, plastic bottles and tissue papers,” said Rishi, Vice President, Wake Up India Foundation, Ranchi Chapter. He added, “We have decided to do our bit in keeping the pandals clean this year.” As part of the campaign, the members of WUIF will install dustbins and conduct an awareness drive to stop littering. The team will visit RR Sporting Club, Ratu Road, Satya Amar Lok, Marwari Bhawan, and Ranchi Railway Station, Pandal to donate and install dustbins.
