CCL awarded three ISO certifications
Central Coalfields Limited, the Jharkhand based subsidiary of CIL, was awarded ISO certification in three categories i.e. 9001, 14001, and 45001. ISO certification establishes credibility within the stakeholders that the company meets the global standards for business. ISO 9001 is a standard for quality management system, while 14001 is for environmental management system is an international standard for work and safety at work place. This certificate is a testimony of the company's commitment towards continuous improvement in organizational processes. CMD, CCL P.M.Prasad expressed delight on company attains the certification.
RRD bids farewell to retiring employees
One officer and 10 employees of different departments working in Ranchi Railway Division retired on Friday. They were paid the entire amount received after their retirement. On this occasion, ADRM (Operations) Manish Kumar congratulated the retired railway employees and wished for a happy and healthy life after retirement and advised them to invest the money properly and safely. The officers of the Engineering Department, who are retiring, are Assistant Engineer Mrinal Kanti Panda, Goinda Tigga of Mechanical Department, Zila Lakra, Ashok Kumar Sharma of Commerce Department, Pawan Kumar Singh, Vijay Neelmani Khalkho from Operations Department, Shri Ishwar Pal Bhagat, Shripad Mahto from Engineering Department, K Buchi Babu, Arjun Kumar Mahato from Electricity Department and Manik Roy from Signal & Telecom Department. Assistant Personnel Officer Chittaranjan Kumar and Assistant Accounts Officer Rautu Kalondia and other employees were present on the occasion.
IWCZ organises plantation drive
Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur Zest organised a plantation drive at Upgraded High School, New Colony, Adityapur. The programme was presided over by Nisha Gadia, president of the club and secretary Shweta along members Preeti and Usha were present during the drive. Principal Sandhya Pradhan said that plantation is a great process to make the school green and clean the environment and improve the oxygen and level, plantation is being done in the school for the last two years through Inner Wheel Jamshedpur Zest. During the drive, school teacher Vijay and students of the school actively participated in it.
