CMPDI spreads message of cleanliness
CMPDI (HQ), Ranchi, under CSR and as part of Swachhta Pakhwada -2022 celebrations organized different competitions like slogan writing, drawing and essay writing competitions on the theme – ‘Swachh School’ for students of Urughuttu High School, Kanke, Ranchi. The students also presented poems and participated in extempore on Cleanliness and Hygiene. CMPDIL is observing Swachhta Pakhwada from 16.06.2022 to 30.06.2022. Further to promote eco- friendly products and mitigating the use of plastic bags, Jute bags were distributed among the students. On this occasion, Acting Principal Anjana and teachers of the school encouraged the students to maintain cleanliness and be hygienic. Suman Rastogi, Chief Manager (P/CSR), CMPDI, along with the CSR team was present.
Inspection of Harinagar-Chamua railway section
Inspection of the newly doubling railway section between 08 km long Harinagar and Chamua stations was conducted by the Commissioner of Safety (Railways), Eastern Circle, Kolkata, Suvomoy Mitra on Wednesday. The inspection was done of tracks and culverts by motor trolley from Chamua to Harinagar this morning. After inspection, a speed trial was also conducted from Harinagar to Chamua at a speed of 130 km/h in return. It may be noted that under the 110 km long Sagauli-Valmikinagar doubling project, the operation of trains has been started on the 11 km long Sathi-Narkatiyaganj railway section in March 2022. Today, after CRS inspection between Harinagar and Chamua, a total of 19 km of doubling work under this project has been completed and work is in progress on the remaining.
CCL holds workshop on coal production
Central Coalfields Limited organized a workshop on "Leadership Challenges for Achieving One Billion Tonne Coal Production" at CCL HQ Darbhanga House, Ranchi on Wednesday. CMD CCL PM Prasad was the chief guest on the occasion. Director (Pers) PVKR Mallikarjuna Rao also graced the occasion. General Managers, HoDs of various departments along with a large number of employees participated in the same. Eminent speakers from the Coal Industry shared their experiences and stories with the audiences. G.D. Gulab Ex Director (Pers) , MCL talked about leadership qualities and motivated the workers to achieve their goals as a team. In addition, he mentioned the perks of teamwork and a positive attitude in attaining a particular target. Further, R.P. Srivastava Ex Dir (P&IR), CIL spoke about the perks of ‘meaningful distribution of targets for all’ and ‘effective communication skills’. PS Mishra CMD, SECL discussed sustainable mining to fulfill the energy demands of the nation. He encouraged the audience to build a leadership quality. CMD, CCL PM.Prasad said that the company is committed to inclusive development of stakeholders. He further added that grooming the youngsters is one of the most important aspects of leadership.
