Railway Minister and Speaker of the Legislative Assembly flagged off the new weekly train, the weekly train from Rewa to Rani Kamlapati station was inaugurated with a ceremony from Rewa railway station.

Union Railway Minister Ashwani Vaishnav, who was virtually involved in the function from Jabalpur and Speaker of the Assembly, Girish Gautam, flagged off the train from the ceremony organized at Rewa railway station.

Girish Gautam said that daily trains to Nagpur, Mumbai, Kota and Pune should be started. Those going to Bhopal will be more comfortable with the new weekly train.

According to the intention of the Prime Minister, the Railway Department is operating trains according to the need and sentiments of the people. With the outbreak of Corona decreasing, all trains will be operated as before.

Speaking at the function, Speaker of the Vidhan Sabha,Gautam said that today the demands of the residents of Rewa, Sidhi and Satna districts have been partially fulfilled. If the train from Rewa to Anand Vihar, New Delhi is run via Chitrakoot-Banda-Jhansi, then the residents of this place will get the facility to go to Chitrakoot. Every day more than five hundred patients from Rewa go to Nagpur for treatment and daily train is required for Nagpur everyday.

The Speaker said that expansion of train facilities is necessary for the development of Rewa. The weekly train that has been run today should be run at least three days a week. Garib Rath train running from Mumbai to Jabalpur should be run till Rewa.
