Under the chairmanship of the Chairman of Madhya Pradesh Energy Development Corporation Girraj Dandotia 181st meeting of the Board of Directors of the Corporation was held on January 28.
In the meeting, Principal Secretary, New and Renewable Energy Department, Sanjay Dubey, Managing Director, Vivek Parwal and other Directors were present at the meeting in which special emphasis on demand for additional budget for smooth operations of solar pump scheme was considered.
Decisions to increase time for establishment of renewable energy under Kusum-'A' scheme PPA by farmers and developers was taken and was decided to go further and allocate additional 200 GW from the Government of India by inviting tenders, necessary action should be taken to establish renewable energy.
Under the project based in Solar Rooftop RESCO for establishment of 18 MW Grid Connected Scholar Photovoltaic power plant in various government and semi-government institutions for rates, tender for selected units were discussed.
Approval for appointment on compassionate basis for employees who lost lives in Covid-19 was also given.
