The MP Nagar police raided two shops selling fake toner and cartridges and recovered 8 fake toner and cartridges worth about Rs 45000 from their possession.
On Thursday Operation Manager of Consultancy India New Delhi, Hariram Sharma informed the police station M.P. that in the city fake toner and cartridges of Canon company are sold by a shopkeeper named Sai Infotech located in Shrishti Complex Zone 01 and Computer Homes located in Thaddaram Complex Zone 01.
Based on the information MP Nagar police raided the traders at the spot and found the complaint was correct and took action against the traders.
Both the shops were raided by the police and Cannon's toner was checked by the authorized officer of the company in the goods found at the shops which were found to be fake.
A case has been registered against both the shopkeepers under the CopyRight Act by the police. The action was taken against Sai Infotech - Shrishti Complex Zone 1 M.P.Nagar 1 fake Canon cartridge and Computer Homes - Thaddaram Complex Zone 1 M.P. Nagar 7 fake Canon cartridges were recovered.
Total 8 fake Products worth Rs 45000 were recovered by the police. The police have registered case under sections 63,65 of the CopyRights Act 1957.
