In a major reshuffle, the Ministry of Home Affairs on Wednesday transferred 81 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) and Indian Police Service (IPS) officers to new postings.
According to the order issued by Rakesh Kumar Singh, the Under Secretary to the Government of India on April 20, the AGMUT cadre 39 IAS and 42 IPS officers has been transferred and given new postings in Arunachal Pradesh, Goa, Mizoram, Andaman and Nicobar Islands (ANI), Lakshwadeep, Jammu and Kashmir, Puducherry, Delhi and Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu.
Of 42 IPS officer, two AGMUT cadre officers Sanjeev Kumar Yadav and Umesh Kumar have been transferred to Jammu and Kashmir from Delhi. Yadav was posted as the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Special Cell unit of Delhi Police.
“The IPS, Hargobinder Singh (1997), Ankit Kumar Singh (2013), Raja Banthia (2014), Hemant Tiwari (2014), Kushal Pal Singh (2014), Harsh Indora (2016) have been transferred from Arunachal Pradesh to Delhi,” stated the order adding that the IPS, Bosco George has been transferred to Goa from Arunachal Pradesh.
“The IPS Viiav Singh (2005), Ravi Kumar Sinqh (2012), Vichitra Veer (2013), Ankit Chauhan (2013), Raieev Kumar (2014) and Sandhya Swami (2016) have been transferred to Delhi from Andaman and Nicobar Islands,” the order further stated. “Five IPS officers in Delhi, Pramod Singh Kushwah (2009), Amit Roy (2009), Mangesh Kashyap (2009) Sudhanshu (2016) and Sachin Kumar Singhal (2017) have been given new postings at Arunachal Pradesh,” the order read.
“The IPS, Bhisham Singh (2012) Rajesh Deo and Mohammed Ali have been transferred to Mizoram from Delhi while the IPS 2013 batch, Apurva Gupta has been transferred from Mizoram to Delhi,” stated the order. “The IAS, 1997 batch, V Candavelou has been transferred to Goa, Krishan Kumar (2010)has been transferred to Delhi from ANI, Santosh Kumar Roy(2014) has been transferred from Arunachal Pradesh to Delhi, Devansh Yadav (2016) has been given new posting at Jammu and Kashmir and Jawahar P (2007) has been transferred to Puducherry from Mizoram,” the order further read.
