Chhattisgarh Police on Saturday arrested a 23-year-old man for killing his father over a petty issue in Dhamtari district.
Dhamtari Superintendent of Police Prashant Thakur identified him as Naresh Samrath of Kotpara village.
He killed his father Dhan Singh (40) on Friday.
Samrath frequently changed his statement when the police detained him.
Later, Samrath confessed to killing his father for scolding him for roaming outside late at night. A court sent him to prison.
