Madhya Pradesh will soon get rid of traffic jams in many cities. The government has found a solution to this. More flyovers and elevated corridors like the one on Hoshangabad Road and Raisen Road will come up in different parts of the state in the near future.
Krishna Gaur, MLA, Govindpura had recently met Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari in this regard and discussed about the upcoming two flyovers in the city. The Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has also instructed the officials of the National Highway Authority of India to complete the work on these projects.
Apart from this, the pace of development work is being accelerated due to the construction of many flyovers. Apart from the elevated corridor in Bhopal, arrangements will be made to run the flyover on the road above. The first flyover is being constructed on Hoshangabad road from Barkatullah University to Misrod police station. The 5 and a half kilometer long elevated corridor will be made like a double-decker elevated flyover. The width of which will be 15 meters. At the same time, more than Rs 385 crore has been estimated to be spent on this.
The same second flyover will be ready near Anand Nagar Trijunction of Raisen Road. The length of this flyover to be constructed from Akashvani Microwave Proper to Raj Vedanta School will be 350 meters while width will be 15 meters. The estimated cost for this has been fixed at Rs 80.68 crore. At the same time, 15 lakh people in Bhopal will benefit from the construction of both the flyovers.
Apart from this, preparations are being made to build a double-decker flyover in Bairagarh as well. Elevated corridor will reduce the traffic pressure. Metro track will be constructed on the flyover above the road at the bottom of the double-decker elevated corridor, so that there is no problem in the road traffic and the metro rail.
