On the 12th National Voters' Day, a daylong online lecture was held on Sunday.
It was organised under the joint aegis of National Service Scheme Unit, Rabindranath Tagore University, Press Network of India and Madhya Pradesh Press Club.
The lecture organized on voter awareness focused on the topic 'Day of duty towards the nation'. In which the Commissioner of Shahdol division, Rajiv Sharma said that in order to strengthen democracy, conscious participation of citizens is necessary in the process of voting.
He further said that if the citizen is aware, then he will choose the government that meets his basic needs, but if he is not aware then he will give his vote a wrong place by getting a little greed. In such a situation, the government that will be formed will never work with gratitude towards the citizens.
It can be said that the character of the common citizens as voters ultimately becomes the character of the government. Mr. Sharma quoted former Chief Election Commissioner TN Sessions saying that 'just as on the basis of which you choose a son-in-law after a thorough research, you should also choose your representative on the basis of high standards.'
Programme coordinator Ajay Pratap Singh, Executive Editor and Joint Secretary Madhya Pradesh Press Club and Programme Officer Gabbar Singh also addressed the youth involved in the lecture. The programme was conducted by volunteer Mayank Sahu and gratitude program officer and Dean Faculty of Education Rekha Gupta.
And it comes as no surprise that Parvati has numerous fan pages dedicated to her and often shares stunning pictures of the actress.
